Wednesday 16th
Lots of blue skies and calm seas for this October. Ithaca Greece has a really healthy feel about it this October. Below - Marmaka.
Monday 21st - Fine October weather continues. There will be less people on the island soon as the charter flights to Kefalonia stop soon and the yacht flotillas too.
Wednesday 23rd - Good weather continues for October. People are still swimming and why not, 25C is perfect on everyone's weather radar. Below - The Stavros Palace. Someone should buy this and restore to make something worthwhile. It's such a shame to let this historic building deterriorate. Contact ithacagreece.com Real Estate for details.
Friday 25th - This year's October has been the busiest in quite some time. In Kioni for instance, most the restaurants would have been shut for the season, but they are not. Still some healthy competition for the visitor. That's good news for the visitors and for Ithaca island.
Sunday 27th - The end of daylight savings does not necessarily mean the end of good weather, as we continue with warm sunshine in this Indian Summer October.
Monday 28th - Another sunny day for Oxi Day 2019. Some photos coming later, but first let's enjoy some pristine waters around Ithaca.

Thursday 31st - Another month at an end. Yesterday it rained most of the day. A fitting start to November.
October 2019
Autumn on Ithaca Greece
Wednesday 16th
Absolutely wonderful October weather. The Season also seems like it's been extended this year. Still lots of people around. Sometimes even full restaurants. Bus tours still dropping people off around the Ithaca island at the various points of interest. It's a buzzing October.
Monday 21st - We are truly flying through this fine weather month of October.
Wednesday 23rd - Ithaca's version of 'Cats'.
Friday 25th - With the Oxi Day parade coming up in Vathy on the 28th October, it looks like the weather will hold out for a nice Greek celebration day.
Like I've said before, the weather is so perfect that there are still many taking the opportunity to swim around the island, walking too, is perfect at this time of year.
Sunday 27th - Tomorrow Ithaca, along with the rest of Greece, celebrates OXI Day with a parade in Vathy.
