What's New On Ithaca Greece
November 2019
Thursday 14th
It's a rainy November thus far. Yesterday the sun tried to get through the clouds, but when it did succeed, it didn't last long.
Monday 18th - Some horrible weather again yesterday with more to come. Still there are always sunny times so locals can continue with the olive harvest.

Wednesday 20th - Can you believe we're already 2/3 of the way through November? Is it just me or is time flying by?
Rainy days interrupted by sunny breaks. Could be forgiven for thinking it's Spring instead of Autumn.
Saturday 23rd - More storm warnings for tomorrow, but today there should be some sunny breaks, or at least so says the weatherman. While the sun shines, the olive harvest continues around Ithaca. Olives on Ithaca are harvested mostly for olive oil, which is processed in facilities in the north and the south of the island.

Thursday 28th - With so much rain lately, it was a great change for a sunny day yesterday. Here's to it continuing.

Saturday 23rd - With tourists almost completely gone now, locals get on with the business of preparing for winter.
Monday 25th - Better get those boats out of the water. There's some bad weather rolling across the Ionian from the west. Ionian Pelagos ferry is not traveling at least for today with the imminent bad weather forecast.
