What's New On Ithaca Greece
September 2024
Monday 16th - September has meant a radical change of weather conditions. Cooler, wetter, but with sunny breaks too. Nothing too bad, despite the predictions of severity. A windy day predicted for today, which will keep the temps down a bit.
Thursday 19th - Those moody September skies take center stage this month. Probably not so great for visitors, but the earth needed the rain.
Above - dramatic skies sure make for dramatic sunsets. Just beautiful.
Tuesday 23rd - After quite a few days of pretty stormy, rainy, cloudy weather, the past couple of days has seen all that blow away to leave us with the kind of weather we'd expect this time of the year.
Friday 27th - It only takes a few rainy spells to transform Ithaca into a lush, green paradise. The skies can be changeable this time of year, but there's still plenty of summer sunshine to enjoy, along with a steady stream of visitors soaking in the island's beauty.

Monday 16th
There are still lots of yachts and bus tours. The yachting tourism won't stop until the end of October.
Thursday 19th - September just seems to be flying by. It's been a wet one so far, but that's not a bad thing for Ithaki earth. It doesn't take much for the sunburnt grass to fade and for the lush greenery to be exposed again.
Tuesday 23rd - Still quite a few visitors around the island despite the past skies.
Friday 27th - Nearly the end of another month and only a few days from Auturmn.
