What's New On Ithaca Greece
February 2024
Thursday 1st - Hope everyone's start to February is a good one. Here on Ithaca we're having some really fine weather with clear views. The chill is expected. It's winter.
Saturday 3rd - The fine weather continues giving us crystal clear views and sunny days to enjoy. A pleasant 14C forecast for today. A good time to put on our sneakers and go for a nice walk around Ithaca.

Tuesday 6th - Fine weather continues. Feels like Spring is already on the way. Below - Kioni Mills.

Friday 9th - More fine weather for this remaining week. Still fairly quiet in the streets, although locals are taking advantage of the sunshine.
Monday 12th - The weather has turned a little sour, but as we are slowly heading into Spring, it won't be long before we have nothing but blue skies ahead of us. Below - Stavros.

Friday 9th - Forkinas (Ithacas Theatre Group) have started rehearsals for this year's production, which is none other than the comedy "The Crazy of Sayio" by Jean Girontou, directed by Periklis Vassilopoulou.
The play was written in 1943 at a time when France, but also all of Europe was grieving due to the Nazi occupation. Girontou's humorous and acute script, with heroes of 4 ruthless profiteers who plan to exploit the Paris underground, are confronted by Oreli "Crazy Sayio" who is not crazy at all.
