Full Moon Dancing was inspired by the Poems of Tilemahos Karavias, Mayor of ithaca and Produced by Dimitris Danis at the Vathy Dormitory. Poems of love, pain and betrayal, adapted for Dance by Brazilian Dancer, Choreographer and Teacher Eder Cardoso and Produced and Directed by Dimitris Danis. This Summer production was enabled by Ithakis Fimios and participated in by Loula Kostiri and the children who study dance at the Vathy Gymnasium. Mr. Karavias' Poems were spoken by Tomi Dendrinou and Maria Kouyianou, two of Ithacas' well known actors in Community Theatre. For the production, Dimitris Danis transformed the old School Dormitory into a spectacular stage in the garden setting of the property. A night of theatre in historical surrounds. |
