Easter Sunday on Ithaca Greece - Page 2

With Easter being later this year, there were quite a few visitors around the island. Some were lucky enough to be invited to Easter Sunday at a local house.

There is no bigger occasion than Easter Sunday for Greek Easter. It's the day when everything, and I mean everything, is put aside and it's just about food and fun.

You could tell the kids were super excited about performing their dances for the community, parents and friends. Big, Ithaki FUN!

And the community was super excited about supporting them. They were all amazing! and the kids shared their joy amongst the onlookers.

With the older kids, you could see there was some blossoming talent in the arena of dance.

I love how Ithaki, even with, and almost despite the crisis, it fosters the arts, music and just plane old good fun.
