Carnival 2016 Starts off - Page 1

The start of the Carnival season kicked off in the Vathy Village Square at 4pm on a chilly winter's afternoon on Ithaca island in Greece.

The highschool kids served up some snacks in the round while everyone waited patiently for the kids to do some choreographed dances for everyone.

After such a mild winter so far, the windchill cooled things down quite dramatically once the sun began to set.

There was a great community feel around the village square. Everyone getting into the spirit of the beginning of Carnival.
