Saturday it rained all day, and overnight Sunday morning it rained and rained and rained, but for the Carnival, the sun came out just a little and the rain held off for the festivities. It was cold, but the occasional bursts of sunshine warmed us all up. The time for the Carnival was brought forward by a few hours so that the weather wouldn't get a chance to go bad again. This could have been the reason that so many locals weren't there, or it could also be that many aren't on the island to begin with. Still, a good time was had by all. The performances were enjoyable, there was a little local humour, a little dirty humour, a bit of culture and myth and alot of just good wholesome fun.
