When insomnia hits, what better than to just get up and head to Exoghi for the sunrise. Patches of mist sit in pockets across Platrithia and float across the mountain tops over Aphales. It's very still, no wind, no sound, but as the skyline begins to glow red and gold, the revving of mopeds echoes up the mountain and it's clear the island is awake. School kids wait for the bus to Vathy and workmen head to the building site. It's quite busy at 7 am, busier than most evenings. There's a fine day expected today and as the sun begins to rise, the blue skies reveal themselves above the morning cloud. So begins this Wednesday in October.
