Roxani and Eleni live in one of the very few houses to have survived the earthquake of 1953 in one of the oldest houses in Kioni.  They have lived there all their lives.

Mother and daughter involve themselves in the community with their aid to the frail and the church.  They have family all around them in the village, but also at sea and in Australia.

These two woman are an important part of Kionis history and continue to possess, to this day, a wealth of information on days past in Kioni.
