Meropi was born in Stavros and after a ten year absence, working in Patras, she returned to Ithaca in the mid 90's, living again in the house she was born in and working at her restaurant Symposium in Frikes.  She likes to travel and has travelled extensively throughout Greece, but has also been to the UK and Scotland.  Her English is excellent.

Meropi really likes her wine.  One day she hopes to have a vineyard on Ithaca so she can make her own. (And of course drink it)

During the winter of 2002, Meropi started guitar lessons and found she had a good ear for music.
