Maria

Maria was born in Ag. Sarantas and is still an Ag. Sarantas local.  As a young girl she lived in South Africa, met her Greek husband there, had her children there before she and her husband decided to move the family back Greece, to the city of Tripoli in the Peleponnese where they ran their Electrical Hire business.  Like so many Ithacans, it seemed inevitable that Maria too, would move back to Ithaca to resume the life she had left behind many, many  years ago in her village of Ag. Sarantas.
