Kostas was born and raised in Raxi, he has never had the urge to leave the island, so he hasn't. Kostas is the owner of the small general store just as you reach the hill of Raxi before the road descends to Kioni. The general store is locally known as the 'Raxi Club, due to the late nights spent drinking behind closed doors. The store itself is over 105 years old and has been run by the Paizi family since Kostas grandfather first started the tradition. Kostas does not only provide a general store for the Raxi community, but also a place for the community to meet and spend some time together.
