Good Friday 2024

A coolish night for this year's Good Friday celebration for Greek Easter. The annual burning of Judas in Kioni had a record number of people attending this year. Have not seen this many people in over 20 years. With Greek Easter quite late this year, it's coincided with many coming to the island for their annual leave from the Mainland. Ferries have been full. After the church service and parade through the main street of Kioni, those who wanted to continue, headed to Spavento Cafe Bar.
