Anoghi Panighiri 2024

Each year, the mountain village of Anoghi on the island of Ithaca Greece holds a Summer festival to which both north and south islanders, mixed with a fair amount of visitors to the island, attend. For many years the festival occupied the space around the old tower in the square, but a couple of years ago it switched to the new location just a few steps further along the road. Last year it was so crowded you couldn't move through the crowds to the dance floor, but this year, it was just comfortably full which allowed everyone who attended to get the festival spirit without being squashed.
