Stavros Panighiri - Sortiros 2023
Preparations for Sortiros Festival started earlier in the week with a new stage and backdrop being erected, and chairs and tables piled high around the edges of Stavros village square.
As expected, Sotiros, also known as the Stavros Panighiri, was heaving with good cheer, laughter, food, wine and dance as every year. Lots of new and known faces packed around the village square and beyond. Sortiros hasn't been this packed in many years. Cars parked way beyond the village boundaries. The dance floor was full from beginning to end and the end isn't here yet. One more night of festivities to go.
