This year's panighiri didn't seem quite as busy as some other years, but there was no less fun to be had. In Kioni, people are more dispersed around the restaurants and cafes and so sometimes it can appear there are fewer people when in actual fact, that might not be the case at all.
A whole new generation are taking over the dance floor and surrounds. Some old and cherished faces go missing each year and new ones take their place. It's good to see the younger ones keeping up the tradition of the festivals. They are usually at the core of the island and Summer.
