2019 Festival at Vigla ithaca Greece

The hike from Raxi to Vigla has been well sign posted now, making the trek to the top of the mountain much easier. Although the sky was obscurred by that grey misty cloud, it was still a mild day and probably better not to be under direct sunshine when hiking to the top.

The dedicated and the young men stayed at Vigla the night before, getting everything ready for the festival the next day. It's a wonderfully traditional affair at Vigla and the good cheer makes the trek up the mountain completely worthwhile...the good food and wine don't hurt either.
