Nick and Amy baptize their son Dion

Nick Raftopoulos and wife Amy came from Australia to baptize their son in Frikes Ithaca, the village from where the Raftopoulos family have their roots. Friends and family came from various corners of the world to join in the celebration of naming their son, Dion, in the Greek Orthodox manner. The ceremony was held at the quaint little church in Frikes with an intimate gathering which then headed to Rementzo Restaurant for dinner and the party.
Dion only shed a few tears during the baptism due to the gentle hand of Papas Babis, who officiated the baptism and liturgy, and happily interracted with the guests, expressing interest, rather than the fear that many babies experience the midst of such attention.
