Another successful and enjoyable Panighiri for Anoghi. This festival is always anticipated as it has such a traditional feel and flavour. The festival is centered around the church and the local Cafe which has over the past couple of years, been a much visited tourist stop. There weren't as many people for this year's panighiri as last year's, but it didn't matter. Everyone had a great time. As the clock ticked toward 1am, the thermometer began to drop and stopped at around 20C, a little cooler than was expected, but still a nice break from the swelter over the past months. The band played well and the attendees danced all night. What more would you want.
