Once the music began to work its way up from Platrithia into Stavros, it was time to get on the dancing shoes to head on down to the last big Panighiri for the Summer. The Platrithia Community went all out to put on another great Panighiri this year. One of the more popular Patras bands was booked for the night, and it was well work it. The dance floor was never empty and there was plenty of Kefi to go around. The Platrithia Panighiri is very popular and if you wanted a table, it should have been pre-booked. For those without a table, there were bar areas and park benches to hang around in, inbetween dancing time. After midnight, Kolieri singer, Yiannis Andrianatos graced the stage to perform some of his favorite songs. He is always a popular addition to any band at the Platrithia Panighiri. |
