The traditional service was made all the more special in the Stelatata Church, steeped in old world atmosphere and ritual, but for Ariadne, being dunked in oiled water by a complete stranger, no matter how pleasant the scent, was taking it all a bit too far.  Ariadne wanted her mum, and once the ritual was over, it was her mum that put out her arms to comfort her bewildered daughter until she was calm and ready to continue with the next step of her baptism...The Feast.
