Who would have thought that a children's street theater performance could have captured Ithacans and visitors for 3 nights? Well, in Kioni, the innovative and experimental theatre tickled, not only the kids performing and the proud parents looking on, but also passers-by and attendees. The message was political, environmental and local, expressed with humour of course. The performance started at the school where everyone was placed into groups via color selection. A donation gave you the color and then, only then, could you enter the threshold of the old Kioni school building, where it all began.
