The wind began to blow a bit before Panighiri time, but luckily it remained a mild and comfortable night for this, the las BIG panighiri of the season. From now on, many visitors, especially from the mainland Greece, will be heading off home again soon. The Platrithia Panighiri reflects the winding down period thereafter. There's no doubt about it, the numbers were down for all the Panighiria this season, but for me and I'm sure for others, it meant more comfort, ease of finding a place to sit and keeping all your toes in one piece on the dance floor. It was still very, very busy and I'm sure the Platrithia community would have been extremely happy with the result and the money raised. A great success!
