The first day of daylight savings started with gloomy skies and only became worse the closer it came to the Independence Day parade and speeches in Vathy. While the liturgy was finishing off, the skies opened up to pour down for hours. Below are some photos of what I could capture.
It's always a juggle to get the Stavros Parade in as well as the Vathy parade, and usually impossible. This year I got up early enough to get a few photos of Stavros and then rushed down to Vathy only to miss everything. Oh well. Acts of nature and such can not be argued with.
