Greek Easter 2017 - Good Friday in Kioni Ithaca Greece

A pleasantly mild Spring night for this years Good Friday celebrations for Greek Easter. Lots of people headed to Kioni for the annual burning of Judas and the parading of the Epitaph through the village.

The villages has eradicated those horrid firecrackers and opted for some lighting of flares at the pier instead, colouring the night in a deep red smoke away from the crowds and the religious celebration.
