Although many are questioning the relevence of celebrating Oxi Day, as tradition and pomp have less importance in today's Greece, for now it continues with parades around the country to comemorate Metaxas refusal to Moussolini made on October 28th 1940. Again, it's unfortunate that the Stavros and Vathy parades are not co-ordinated so that both can be attended. I'm a bit sick, so I sent Demetri along to take some pics.
