Kyriakoula and Spiros, two much loved young locals united in marriage over the weekend, and we get to have a sneak peak. Sunday afternoon at 4pm, the sun was still shining, the skies were blue, and the winter hibernation was broken with locals from all over the island coming to witness this lovely couple take their vows. If you're coming to Ithaca during the summer, you will no doubt see Spiros quite often as he has the designer butcher shop right on the Vathy promenade, and Kyriakoula is girl Friday/secretary for one of Ithaki's engineers, Mr. Deftereos.
Kyriakoula looked stunning and vibrant as did the groom. A handsome young couple. Not winter or earth tremors would deter them on this day.
