Visitors, ex-pats, the curious, the accidental, the transitory, the adventurers, the sailors, the backpackers, the walkers, the runners, the swimmers, the honeymooners, the retirees, the artists, the poets, the beautiful and the ugly. Faces from all over the world come to this small island and can end up on who's here for the world to see. |

Mon 24 Sep - Left - Suzy Papas Johnson with her brother Andy and friend and fellow artist, Larissa Blake. Suzy and Larissa are here from Australia traveling around the world, painting and exhibiting their work. Larissa lives in Sydney and is a professional artist and respected teacher who has exhibited in Australia, Asia and Europe. Suzy is 1/4 Ithacan on her fathers' side, with her roots in Kioni, but lives on the south east coast of Australia in a country community. Although this is only Suzy' second visit to Ithaki, when she flew over Athens, her heart told her she was home. Suzy' is a musician and artist and divides her time between both those passions. While on Ithaca, both Suzy' and Larissa have been painting their abstract images of Ithaki and will be exhibiting their work on Sunday 30th September at Suzy' brothers; restaurant, Yefuri in Platrithia. Drinks at 7pm. |

Left - Paul, Ithakis favourite Rep, now Ex-Ithakis favourite Rep, is back on Ithaca to visit all the friends he's made over the years. When Paul walks in, he's treated like Royalty, and why not, his time on Ithaca had him kicking up his heals and getting into the fun of the island, leaving an unforgettable impression in the hearts of those he touched here. |

Wed 26 Sep - Left - Paul, Mel and Liz are sailing around the ionian on their brand new yacht
'Colombine of Chichester'. Paul and Mel Bowden have been coming to Ithaki for 10 years and live in Wales while Liz, who is originally from Yorkshire, lives in Sydney |

Australia. These 3 friends enjoy the adventure of their regular sailing holidays, but this trip, it hasn't been all smooth sailing for Mel. She lost her entire fingernail to a little accident, but after a few glasses of wine in Frikes, the pain soon disappeared. Phew! |

Fri 28 Sep - Right - Look who came sailing into Frikes Bay this afternoon. It's the Hand Ball team from the west coast of Sweden. They were practicing their moves on the pebbles of the Frikes Bayside before stopping for a beer at Fiorendino Bar. A quick photo shoot, some Gift shopping and then back to their yacht to freshen up before dinner. I'll make a bet that Frikes will be echoing with the laughter of these jovial Swedes tonight. |
Sat 29 Sep - Below Left - Sue and Mike were on Ithaca for Spring and are back again for a little Autumn as well. We caught up with them while on a stroll through their favourite village, Kioni. Below Right - Maureen and Rodney are first timers to the island and have taken an instant like to the place. They're here from Tonbridge UK and are staying in the bayside village of Frikes. A 2 week stay should have them nice and relaxed. |
