It's that party time of year again. Pre-Carnival celebrations one day after the next. Last night at the Mylos Creperie in Vathy, Freddie Mercury (aka Nikos Karantzis) and his little princess (Vikki) hosted the Party with their usual enthusiasm and vigor for encouraging the outrageous and camp, just the way Ithaki during Carnival time, likes it. Max Factor must make a killing in Greece each year with lipstick sales going through the roof as the boys get a legitimate excuse to doll themselves up before they pucker-up with a rosy, all night, gloss. A great night, lots of laughs, dancing and alcohol to get sweaty with, and while it was raining men indoors it was raining rain outside with a lightning storm which paled in comparison with the sparks flying at Mylos. |
